Hyderabad India — August 23, 2016 — GVK Biosciences is pleased to announce that the Association for the Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) International has granted extension of FULL ACCREDITATION for its animal care and use programs. The animal facility was first awarded the AAALAC International accreditation in July, 2010 and the same has now been renewed.
The AAALAC International Council on Accreditation conducted an extensive on-site assessment and review of the GVK BIO animal care and use program. The Council commended GVK BIO and the staff for providing and maintaining quality program laboratory animal care and use. The Council especially cited the excellent husbandry, evidenced in part by the clean cages with healthy animals, the dedicated and knowledgeable attending Veterinarian and the well trained and committed veterinary staff.
